Double Flanged Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve
As with the flanged gate valve, the butterfly valve is used to shut off a pipeline. By opening the valve, the disc will allow water to flow into the pipe, while in the closed position, it will block the passage of the liquid in question with a complete seal. By using a handwheel for example, the operation of this double eccentric valve is simple and quick to use.
These types of valves, which are easy to transport thanks to their light weight (compared to other types of valves), can be used in drinking water supply networks (AEP) as well as in fire protection and waste water treatment.
Apart from the handwheel or operating square, the butterfly valve can be controlled by a lever or by a pneumatic or electric actuator.
